The University Residence Hall Association (URHA), which was formed at The University of Texas at Austin in 1981, is a student organization committed to improving the quality of residence life for on-campus students. We perform a variety of functions to serve the best interests of our residents. We work very closely with University Housing and Dining (UHD), our parent organization, to constantly relay resident input. We serve as the official voice of the residents, and use this to review and change policy as suggested by the residents. Everyone who resides in a University residence hall is automatically a member of URHA and their hall's RHC.
Our Mission
The University Residence Hall Association empowers, motivates, and advocates for on-campus residents by providing them with skills and resources for them to excel and positively impact the campus community.
Our Vision
The University Residence Hall Association seeks to create a network of engaged campus residents sharing common experiences through leadership and development opportunities that enhance the community.
